Ashura made sure that Sally was put in a cell last, as the other prisoners were only co-operating while they thought that their leader was in danger. When he shoved Sally inside a cell, she looked Ashura straight in the eye and said quietly, "Why are you doing this?"

He stared right back and said, "Cuz I want to. I wish for the death and distruction of you and yours. Is that a good enough answer?"

Sally replied, "It's hard to believe that such an evil creature as yourself could have been created from the DNA of Sonic, one of the best hedgehogs around."

"Such is life," Ashura said. "I didn't ask to be created." He then slammed the cell door closed and locked it.

After Ghost had sent the boo on its way, he went looking for Mephiles.

Mephiles was, of course, back at the base, and very easy to find.

Manic went to his room and shut the door. He wished there was a way to send a message to his siblings so that they'd know he hadn't wanted to commit the crime of leveling the forest.

Angelica lightly knocked on the door.

[Miranda_]

"Come in," Manic said resignedly. If it was someone he didn't want to talk to, like Mephiles or Ashura, they'd not take no for an answer.

Angelica came in and gently shut the door behind her. "Hi, Manic."

[Miranda_]

"Hi Angelica," Manic replied, glumly. "I guess you've already heard."

[spirit_queen]

"Yeah, I heard." Angelica said. "Mind if I sit?"

[Miranda_]

"I guess not. I suppose I shouldn't stay on my own right now, just in case I'm tempted to do something stupid."
