Sonic X - Chaos Control

The people of Soleanna were routed, and fleeing in terror. The army were unable to act; "Elise" had seemingly forbidden them to retaliate against the invaders.

Iblis was also there, setting buildings on fire and searching for anything valuable. He had already found and destroyed the sceptre.

Mephiles was actually there, too, overseeing everytihng that was going on. He had been immensely pleased when Iblis had destroyed the scepter.

[Miranda_]

Iblis had reduced it to ashes, then stamped the ashes into powder.

Mephiles had told Iblis he could have whatever junk food he wanted for the day for finding it.

[Miranda_]

This of course made Iblis immensely pleased. He searched each building for loot before setting it afire. Several townspeople had already been killed or had died as a result of the fires raging thruout the kingdom.

Mephiles was unaffected by the screaming and the stench of burning flesh and hair around him. He only cared for life if it served him in some way. These poeple, however, were useless.

Ghost was now about to lay siege to the castle; he was standing outside with several Boo soldiers, including Doo, waiting for Mephiles and Iblis to join him. For some reason, the royal guards were still standing guard. This irritated Ghost. He'd told Doo to remove all obstructions in the castle, too, d*mn it.

[Miranda_]

Ooc: No. Iblis wouldn't do something like that in front of Ghost; he's not stupid. The sceptre can't be replicated; that's too simplistic.

Iblis sent a wave of flames towards the castle.

Mephiles watched with satisfaction as the flames engulfed the castle.

Ooc: Miranda's right, Aaron. The scepter's gone and can't be remade. There are other options to look into.

Ghost smiled grimly as the guardsmen were burned to cinders.

"Iblis, care to turn off that inferno before it reaches the treasury and destroys the various valuables therein?"
