Said children were soon silenced into terror after a look from Shadow. He wasn't overly keen on kids. Which might be a problem in the future...

Kieran dropped to the ground and shivered, his amber eyes wide. He crawled away from Shadow with his belly nearly touching the ground, and his tail low. When he saw Silver, he dashed forward, ran between his father's leg and hid behind Silver, letting out one small, pathetic, frightened mew.

[Miranda_]

Silver picked his son up. "What's the matter wjth him?" he asked Blaze.

"I have no clue; something must have scared him." Blaze said, shrugging.

Kieran tried to hide in his father's collar-fluff, mewing again.

[Miranda_]

"Maybe we could just keep him with us for the time being," Silver said.

[spirit_queen]

"That sounds good." Blaze said. "It's not like we were doing much else, anyways."

[Miranda_]

"Cept watching all the refugees come in," Silver said. "Looks like there's quite a few."

[spirit_queen]

"But I'm not surprised, given the who's taken over the mainland." Blaze said.

Julie rubbed her stomach absently; she'd been feeling somewhat bloated lately and decided that maybe she wasn't used to food from Mobius and that she'd have to readjust.

This was before she noticed that her usual tight pants didn't fit.

She was now starting to get worried.

[Miranda_]

"Yeah," said Silver, with an involuntary shiver. "It was good of Knuckles to let people use his island as a refuge."

Shadow of course was oblivious; he hardly knew anything about pregnancy, let alone the reproductive system of echidnas. XD Knuckles however did; and he couldn't help but noticed that Julie was looking a bit plumper than normal.
