Said island was now floating several miles up in the air, which was where it was meant to be. Since it was summer, Knuckles didn't see the point in moving the camp from the plinth; no-one would be cold. When winter came, he usually just built himself a leanto near by.

Sonic spun in the air, and eventually landed in a crouch on Eggman's sea base. He looked around for Eggman.

"He must be around here somewhere. Just have to find him..."

Ooc: I'm assuming he can land unhurt because in the games, he seems to fall miles and land perfectly, without any injury.

Eggman was working to salvage what he could of his sea base.

Sonic wizzed up, circled a few times and stopped on a piece of rubble in front of eggman, hands on hips and face in a grin.

"Well, Eggman, your sea base really has gone to the fish, if you know what I mean"

"SONIC! I blame you for this!" Egman roared.

Sonic frowned.
"How do you figure that?"

That actually made Eggman paused. "I don't know, but you have a knack for destroying everything I work so hard to make!"

"Incase ya haven't noticed, ya whacko, It was you who sent us all to Earth, and pulled the master emerald along with us. That made Angel Island fall, and that blew up your sea base. It was your own fault"

Sonic stopped and considered.
"Mind you, I'd have smashed it to pieces myself if you hadn't dropped an island on it"

"Well, good luck getting back up tp Angel Island, sonic." Eggman sneered. "It seems to have taken to the skies without you."

"Oh I'll get back up when I'm good and ready, Eggball" Sonic retorted.
