Knuckles glared at Rouge. "Fine, if you're not going to sleep with me, I'll just go upstairs and do it myself."

Sonic arrived in the house and stared at the two.

"What's wrong with you two?" he asked. XD

"Fine, I'll sleep with you if it means that much." Rouge rolled her eyes and walked into the bedroom, "You confuse me sometimes, you know that?"

Shadow, while Sonic was talking about how he had stupidly drowned himself, had escaped from the idiot and was skating around. He hung out in the alleys as usual, watching the girl that had talked to him earlier. She just ravaged the garbage cans, doing nothing unusual. He heard people talking about how Knuckles had failed an attempt at stealing the emerald. "He should have left it to Rouge," Shadow muttered. He stayed around the museum and observed Rouge's tactic as she obtained the emerald, and how Sonic stayed around her, the only reason that might have gotten her caught. It was nice to be able to skate around without anyone seeing him. He wandered around a little bit, and then returned back to their hideout around nighttime. He wondered if anyone was still awake.

Sonic was getting bored cuz there was nothing to do.

Shadow saw Sonic awake. "I'm surprised. You survived without me there. That's improvement. But next time, don't bother Rouge when she's out to steal stuff, you're a drawback." He sat down and drank a bottle of water that he had stolen earlier.

"I survived without YOU?!! That's sorta funny coming from the emohog who managed to fall out of the skies when we killed the Biolizard on the Ark!" Retorted sonic.

Shadow remained silent and expressionless, only sipping slowly from his bottle of water. He was thinking about everything that had happened today. "Does Knuckles have the emerald back?"

Ooc: In the game Sonic adventure 2, where shadow first appeared, the game's climax was when shadow and sonic went super and worked together to destroy one of robotnik's other experiments, the Bio lizard, because it had fused with the space station and was about to crash it into the earth. At the end of the battle, shadow lost his power suddenly and fell towards the planet.

Sonic gulped down a bottle of water in three goes. XD
