Rouge burst out in to laughter, "Knuckles? Jewel thief? I'll give you this Charlie, you got the amateur thing right." She tried hard to contain herself, "Yeah, I had to bust the sucker out of jail, too. He couldn't steal if his life depended out it. He's too impulsive, and not sneaky enough. I still think he should have asked me to do it. I already stole loads since we got here."

Amy hit herself in the face. "You're not helping Rouge."

Knuckles looked sulky. He wanted to remind Rouge of their deal, but not in front of Charlie.

"I could have gotten out of there myself if it wasn't for the cuffs. I could have climbed out the window and maybe glided the rest of the way down."

"I still have those cuffs, Knuckie." She warned him. "And don't worry, I remember our deal." she winked.

"Knuckles wouldn't hurt any of the children." She paused. "Isn't that right, Knuckles?" Cream added on, nervously.

Knuckles looked at Rouge. "You wouldn't dare."

Tails giggled nervously.

"Try me," Rouge smirked, folding her arms. She looked at Charlie, "I hope you mean that in a good way, or I'll be using those handcuffs on you and hiding the key away."
