"I knew it was my fault!" Silver wailed. "I've wrecked your life!"

"Oh, Silver." Blaze said. She wrapped her arms around him. "you dind't wreck my life. Not at all!"

[Miranda_]

"But, this wasn't supposed to happen!"

Rouge soon came back from her flight. "Did I miss anything?" she asked Knuckles.

"Of course not, but that doesn't mean we can't make the most of it." Blaze said. She bit her lip; she had no idea how to handle a kitten, though sh wasn't about to tell Silver.

[Miranda_]

Knuckles indicated the hallway. "I would have gone closer to listen, but Bijou wasn't keen on moving. Silver got Blaze pregnant. Didn't even know they were doing it."

Silver sniffled. Then a thought struck him. "What will the baby look like?"

"A mix between a cat and a hedgehog; it worked out okay for Bijou, so maybe our kid will be fine, too." Blaze said.

[Miranda_]

Silver sniffled a bit more. "I'm scared."

Rouge cracked a smile, "Are you serious, Knux? I can't believe they did anything... yuck."

"Scared?" Blaze pulled back a bit to see Silver's face. "You don't need to be scared, Silver; this is a kid, not a monster."
