Meanwhile, Eggman wasonce again up to something, and was putting together some new ray gun or other, an this one looked quite complicated. Eggman would chuckle occassionally as he worked, for he was sure that this plan would have nothing go rong.

He'd checked many times.

His newest plan was a stroke of sheer genius. Though, of course, Eggman privately thought that he was a genius 24/7.

"...and then, when I zap him, that d@mned hedgehog will be in for quite the surprise when day turns to night." then, unable to hod it in any longer, Eggman began to laugh maniacally.

Of course, since there'd been not a peep out of Eggman for quite some time, the group had been lulled into a false sense of security. Tho Knuckles was sure that Eggman hadn't given up, he was the only one. XD

Blaze was distracted by her newly budding relationship with Silver, of course. XD
