Silver sighed. "She still hates me, and I never did anything to her. She won't attack me, but only cuz I'm still in your body."

"..." Shadow wasn't sure if he should say this, but he just said it anyway. "You know. If you try harder to frown. I'll try to strike a deal with Rouge."
Of course, he regretted it right after....

Silver was surprised at this, but nodded. "I'll try." He did his best to frown the way that Shadow did.

At this, he accidentally emitted a small grin of amusement. Silver still wasn't very good at it, although Shadow admitted he was getting better. He didn't actually except Silver to try, though, and was pleased that he did.

Mel, content with listening to Shadow's thoughts, smiled too. "Shadow's thinking cute thoughts," she said, scooting over to Silver.

That wiped the grin off of Shadow's face. "What are you talking about?" He muttered, diverting his eyes to his gun instead.

"I don't think that's likely, even if he is in my body," Silver said, still trying to frown like Shadow.

He sighed. "Rouge ripped out some of my quills before, you know; and they're growing back crooked."

Shadow really wanted to look for the crooked quills at the moment, but it might have offended Silver, which he wasn't really sure how to deal with. He also did not know what to say now, without hurting Silver or Rouge. Not like he cared, but whatever. It was better to keep his mouth shut.

"Wouldn't it be nice to have a girl's day out?" Mel suddenly interjected randomly. XD

[Miranda_]

"You mean, you and the other girls? Well, if you can stop Blaze and Rouge fighting, you could try, at least," Silver said.

The crooked quills were on his head; it made him uncomfortable to look at them. At least if he was in his own body, he wouldn't have to do that. XD

"I like them," Mel lied, pointing at the quills. "They're cuter this way. I know, it'd be hard, but maybe if just for a day everyone put their differences aside..." She began nibbling on her nails again, knowing it wouldn't be possible.

Shadow felt uncomfortable about someone even vaguely saying that he was cute >_>

"Maybe," said Silver. "You could try and talk to Amy, or to Blaze about it."

Mel didn't really want to talk to Amy, but that was what the whole 'girl's day out' thing was about: to put aside differences and try to get along and have fun for a day.

Shadow found the idea of hanging out with other people strange.
