Knuckles didn't know; he was sitting by the Master Emerald, staring into space. He'd had half an idea that Rouge might try to hand it over in exchange for Bijou.

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Thanks. I'm guessing Knuckles is outside." Rouge said, before walking out back to find Knuckles. "Hey, Knuckie, we have Bijou back."

[Miranda_]

"What?" Knuckles looked at Rouge, scarcely understanding what she was saying.

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Bijou... she just appeared from out of nowhere." Rouge repeated. "She's okay. Must have bugged Eggman too much, and he sent her back."

[Miranda_]

"Then that's good. It means I don't have to seek him out to punish him, cuz Bijou did that already."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Yeah." Rouge smiled, glad that Bijou was now sleeping in her arms. She sat beside Knuckles, "Now I'm a little worried about leaving her alone though."

[Miranda_]

"We need to get some of the others to take a turn babysitting, when we can't be around her."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Yeah. We'll be around her even less once I get my body back - hopefully that's soon."

[Miranda_]

"I don't know. I can't ask Tails in case he has another meltdown."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Yeah, but he should be about done by now anyway. I'm sure Julie will repay me for respecting her body and watch Bijou sometimes."
