Knuckles decided to pretend she was talking to the apple. It was easier by far. In any case, tho his head was feeling a lot better, he was still not feeling very well so he decided to go back inside the house himself.

At this point sonic leapt out of the tree he'd been hiding in. He'd sneakily made his way out a window and jumped up there while no one was looking.
