"I don't usually have it two nights running. I don't even know why I have it at all."

The nightmare was in actual fact a vision of Silver's deepest fears; being alone without Blaze; proof of failure to prevent the terrible future; and the world in flames.

"I'm not sure why." Blaze said.

[Miranda_]

"It feels as if I woke up to hell every time I have it."

[spirit_queen]

"But at least it's not real, so that when you wake up things are better." Blaze said.

[Miranda_]

"Only if someone's there to make it go away."

Mel felt bad for Silver. She, too, knew the horror of nightmares; there was more than one night that she had experienced them.

By now Shadow was pretending to be asleep, trying to figure out how he should go about it - should he hide the letter somewhere Blaze would find it? Or should he leave it out in the open, and get Mel to take Silver away for a while, giving the pretense of him feeling too awkward to know Blaze's reply straight away?

It'd be better, though, to do the second one, or else someone might discover the letter.

Silver didn't see anything at all suspicious in Shadow's behaviour. He just thought that Shadow had given up the skates cuz he'd realised that he was in the wrong. There was no apology, but then, Silver didn't expect one. XD Had there been one, that really would have made him suspicious.

"Well, I'm always here." Blaze said.

[Miranda_]

Silver forgot Shadow's directives and smiled. XD

Shadow had now woken up. He went outside with the pretense of going for a walk with Mel but instead was trying to find a paper and pencil to... carry out his plan.

After they got outside, he started ranting in his mind about how Silver had smiled. Did you see him? He's totally abusing my body!
"Shadow, abuse is probably not the right word," Mel giggled.
Whatever, I'll get back at him soon.

He sat down, frowning, with a paper and pencil. Now, what should the letter say?
