"You know," Rouge reminded, "We should find the others. Who knows how far away they are from us, so it might take us a while. We'll just have to be very careful, so we don't get caught."

"Yeah, guess so," said Knuckles, sighing heavily. "We'd better head towards the city; they probably ended up there, like we did."

Shadow started skating back to the forest, towards Amy. He considered going back to Sonic but realized it was futile. Besides, he didn't want anything to do with that ..... fake. He frowned, annoyed.

Rouge nodded and started to walk out of the forest they were in towards the city.

Knuckles got up and followed her. Much as he disliked having to be with the others, he knew full well that it would be more dangerous for him to go off alone. He and the rest of the group, once they'd found each other, would have to stick together. He groaned again at the thought.

Shadow got closer and closer to the forest. Ughh, whatt. The woman he had seen earlier was in the alleyway, He flew by past her but she had begun to follow him. "Go away, go away," he growled, annoyed. The whole ordeal was starting to p'iss him off quite a bit. What would have made him angrier right now was to see something like Rouge and Knuckles, cuddling or something. He snickered. That would be funny, actually.

Most of the kids had now been dragged away bye their wide-eyed parents, and the Camera crews had started showing up, so Sonic rushed off without further ado.

Rouge looked at Knuckles and rolled her eyes after she heard him groaning, and was just about out of the forest when she bumped in to some thing and stumbled back a little. It wasn't a tree, but a red and black coloured hedgehog. "Shadow! Are you alright? Is anyone else with you? Do you have any idea how we got here?" She bombarded him with questions. XD

Sonic had managed to reach the cover of the trees, but the camera crewmen driving the trucks where very agile drivers and where following him at a fairly close pace.

Knuckles hung back, hoping that Shadow wouldn't make any assumptions. He also hoped that Sonic was far away. He couldn't stand him being around showing off.
