"Carefully. That's why I suggested spying out the land first, to see exactly who we're up against."

Thalia nodded. "Prudence. That's a key word; if we aren't careful in all that we do in this, we're royally sc'rewed."

[Miranda_]

"It won't help James at all if we're all murdered."

[spirit_queen]

Thalia shivered. "And I won't stand to leave him in the hands of those people."

[Miranda_]

"Definitely not. In any case, if Sinopa won't help us, then I guess we'll have to go it alone. We'll have to find a derelict house to use as a base or something instead."

[spirit_queen]

"It'll have to do." Thalia said.

[Miranda_]

"Too bad people are too cowardly to make a stand." Kasa knew this was unfair, but she was angry about the whole situation. After all, she had already risked her livelihood, perhaps forever; unless the situation changed, she was unlikely to be ever allowed back on the force again.

Thalia's stomach chose to growl at that moment; she hadn't had anything to eat in quite a while. XD

[Miranda_]

Kasa sighed. "Come on; we'll go to a cafe. I still have some savings left, after all."

"Thanks; I have nothing." Thalia said.
