"They're not too fond of damaged goods, though."

"They're way too fussy. Sometimes the only way to take someone out is to neutralise them. In any case, he would have gotten shot in the legs if he hadn't ducked."

"You try using sedative bullets?"

[Miranda_]

"They weren't my bullets; I don't use guns." Diego rolled his eyes. "I just hexed his gun when he tried to shoot me, so that the bullets would hit him instead."

"Just suggesting." Yuni tossed her tray in the wash bin cart that was being rolled around on its own; it was programmed to move between the tables.

[Miranda_]

"How can I choose what bullets these people use on me? That's stupid."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I meant keep a tranq gun with you."

[Miranda_]

"I don't see the point. I prefer to travel light." Diego was eating very slowly, in order to prolong the time spent unfettered.
