"Go ahead, but there's not really any point. Had a fit or something in his sleep last night and fell right down the hole there." He pointed up at the hole in the ceiling that the prisoners were lowered through. "Told him not to eat anything that tasted funny, did he listen? Nope. We get some funny sh*t to eat." O_o

[Miranda_]

"Since he's not here, then it's your problem, now. Too bad for you."

[Silent_Wolf]

"Hey, I don't tell the prisoners that it's one thing or the other. If they don't want to eat it, that's their business. I won't keep bugging them about it. Anyway, we got a deal with another shipment line, we should hopefully get more food before we run out like we did this time. Hellhound burgers taste like dry turkey."

Yuni looked a bit green and ducked into her cell to be sick. XD

"That guy said he wasn't going to let me eat the hell hounds. That was a bit stupid, wasn't it? I've eaten dogs before, like when I was on the streets of old Earth. Rats, too."

"I hate rats." Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"So do I," Diego said. "But I also hate starving to death. It kind of puts a crimp in your future plans."

"That's true." Mina said.

[Silent_Wolf]

"Bernie probably didn't know. I didn't til I took a bite." The Avian grimaced.

Yuni came back up to the cell door, still looking rather green.

"I don't really care what it was; dunno why you'd be sick after hearing what it was. It was crap, whatever it was, but it wasn't poison."
