*later* It was "feeding time" as the wardens upstairs put it, and an alarm started sounding. Most if not all of the prisoners were running to their cells and slamming the doors shut once they were inside. Yuni decided to follow suit and hide in a cell too. Once all the prisoners were in their cells, along with whatever mercs were there, a gate was released and the hellhounds ran in. They were large, feline beasts with red and blue spikes of fur; their eyes were an odd irridescent white with no pupils. They snarled and snapped at the prisoners in the cells, but didn't do anything else; they were only there to ensure there wasn't a riot over food.
Slots in the doors allowed the wardens to give each prisoner their food for lunch; the meal for that day was corn, a dry hamburger, and nearly burnt fries. Yuni shot the warden in front of her cell a look of disgust. The warden just rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, the quality sucks today, but we're getting a shipment of fresh food tomorrow!"
