Prey {RP Revamp}

Diego watched, envious of their easy companionship. Despite what he'd said to Yuni, he didn't hate her; he just felt irritated that she wouldn't even listen to his theory about the vents, just insisted that she was right.

[Silent_Wolf]

"You suck at this game, Yuni."

"Get stuffed." She laughed a bit. "So, how are the other mercs treating you?"

"Meh, same as always. Always making fun that I couldn't catch mister shiney eyes."

"Not your fault. He's a real tricky one." Yuni put the pieces back and got up; somebody else wanted to play against Toombs now. "Wish I could've had a shot. That would've been fun."

"You don't go after bounties though."

"So?"

Diego listened, idly wondering who it was who'd caught him. Whoever it was, he certainly planned to make them die painfully when he got out of this place.

[Silent_Wolf]

"Just sayin'. If you went after Ridd'ck, you'd be dead. He ain't human."

"I could say the same about you, buddy." She chuckled.

"Hey, hey, hey, just because I'm a mutie doesn't mean I got no feelings, sweatheart." He ran a hand through his curly red hair absently. "Your friend's gawkin' at us."

".." Yuni was mentally grumbling.

Diego quickly looked away. He stared down at the restraints, wishing he didn't have to wear them most of the time. But he wasn't trusted on the ship, and probably wouldn't ever be. For good reason; Diego knew that he probably would hex someone if driven to it, and if he wasn't restrained. He never bothered to check his impulses.

Before Yuni could answer, Toombs waved over at Diego. "Hey, you any good at chess?"

[Miranda_]

"Crap," Diego answered without looking up. "Just like I am at most board games."

[Silent_Wolf]

"Can you play poker?"

Yuni wished Toombs would shut up.

[Miranda_]

"Yeah, but I'm a bad loser. Just warning you now."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I'm not braggy, believe me. I suck at it too." He chuckled. "Come on over here, then, let's play."
