Yup! Just about to do it.
Name: Virginia Payton Age (Teens): 16 Field: Language Bio: Aside her ignored past, she never had any friends besides a cat named Murphy. She went to a private school until the time of six and was bullied, so she moved to a public school. She loves music, and used to play the violin. She isn't too smart in the area of math, but tried her hardest in school. She was still bullied at the public school, but she spent most of her day in therapy. Nothing could remedy her tend to recluse, so they eventually gave up and left her to fend for herself. It got easier after practice against bullies, but still isn't too good around people. Strengths (3 aside from your field): Patient, Listener, Clever Weaknesses (3): Lazy, Has Mood-Swings, Weak Picture (Optional): ~ Virginia Payton awoke in the North Street alley. She had been searching for food the previous night, and she was tired from all the running she had had to do. "I should have worked harder in gym class when I had it," she thought. There was a slant of light coming thru the tall building of both sides of her, and she got up slowly and walked into it, waking herself up. She reached her hands up and stretched. She heard all of the sounds of New York City: cars, horns, people. She couldn't imagined a better place to be. It had been a month since she arrived there, and she didn't plan on leaving anytime soon. She walked out into the actual street and sat on the bench closest to her. She pulled her knees up to her chin and looked at the nearest sign. It was an advertisement for McDonald's, and she tried to say in as many languages as she could remember to pass the time. After all, there wasn't school anymore, but she knew she had to remember her languages. After all, language was the reason she run from home. control yourself; take only what you need from it. a family of trees wanted to be haunted. ♥ MGMT.

Name: Nora Penvellyn
Age (Teens): 15 Field: Time Bio: Nora never stayed at one school for much time. She was either kicked out for bullying other kids or either chose not to come. She did this as a protection against kids making fun of her. She really only spent time, a word she hated, reading. Loves to break rules. Strengths (3 aside from your field): Creative and a good problem solver. Weaknesses (3): Quick to judge, lazy, cocky and rude. Appearance (subbed the in instead): Brown haired, blue eyed, and a medium build, only 5'4. OOC: Savants also can be kids with Autism and have a special ability. ^^ I just wanted to point that out because I saw a T.V. show on it. As the sun began to rise, Nora opened her eyes lazily. "Ugh, 8:23 already?" Nora said, wishing she could go back to sleep. She sighed and hesitantly got up from her home, made up of a old orange crate and a old peice of cardboard. Her appearance was rather ratty looking. She wore a torn jacket covered in mud, and dirty jeans with a ton of mud on them, not to mention her hair was a mess. She yawned and picked up her "purse", a old Wal-Mart bag that she used to pick up any food she found along the way. She walked slowly, not knowing where she was going, just somehow going, like some hidden force was moving her. She sat down at a bench, where, at least she guessed, another homeless person was sitting down. Nora sat down next to her not caring if she noticed her or not. Strangely, it seemed the girl was muttering something, but Nora couldn't understand it. A advertisment mas stuck underneath the chair leg of the bench and Nora picked it up. She glared at it sadly. "Stupid Spanish, wish I could know what it says." |

Name: Harmony (Harm) Lynn Maeve
Age (Teens): 17 Field: Splinter Bio: Harm was always alone. Never needed anybody, always felt safer alone. Her mother was always drunk or on a 'gig' but when she was home, and sober, it was like hell. Harm and her mother fought like crazy, cussing each other out and even getting into some physical fights, weapons at times. Since Harm was a strong sleeper at times, to wake her up, her mother would use various resources to wake her, causing scars. Harm was always degraded, from her teachers to her family. Finally, she decided that instead of letting it bother her, she would fight but now, her passion to fight was weakening. When she started to gain these 'improvements' she was bashed and beaten for it. She began to hide it, keep it to herself, but improve at the same time. She learned Math pretty quick, as that was her best subject at school but Time and Language were extremely hard but she could learn it, slowly. Strengths (3 aside from your field): She taught herself how to defend herself, by any means-which meant with or without weapons, she has extreme determination and self control. Weaknesses (3): Hatred-she can't stand most people, especially girls. Her lack of patience, she may be self controlled but that is only when she is fighting, other than that she as loose as a cannon, and her passion for animals. She doesn't care what danger it involves, she will try and save any animal. Picture (Optional):Link Harm was already up. She had emptied the contents of her bag, mainly weapons and a few pieces of clothes. She was sharpening some of her knives, a cold, passionless look in her eyes. She glanced up at the two just awakening. "Rise and shine, girls." She rolled her eyes. "I thought we said we would be up and moving by 6 am." In reality, that's what Harm had said. She had told the group, thinking that she was the leader, to be up by 6 am in time to leave. Obviously, she was the only person who had done so. "If you guys would start waking up on time, we might have been able to go get food down at the homeless shelter-but no, you lazy people wanted to sleep. Well, reality check, we're not at home anymore. So, stop thinking that you're still safe." She stood up, gathering her stuff. Love is much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense.

ooc: Correct! Sorry for the confusion.
Sam rolled her eyes. "Doesn't matter! By the time we get to the shelter, so many people would have been there that we will be standing in line for nothing." Sam always had to be right and have the last word in. Always. xD Love is much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense.

Virginia could here them talking at the foot of the alley. "Morning. Ready to go to the shelter?" She began to pick up some of her belongings: a book, an old blanket, and some extra clothes she had brought to California. "I hope they're still open. We slept in...."

Virginia pulled out a small crumple map she had found and studied it. "I think we have to go south to reach 51st. It may take a while to get there, but all we need is a shower and some food."
