Jacki grimaced as she let the horrible music get to her ears. She tried to concentrate on her own music but couldn't block out the horrible music.

Kate came out with her IPOD in her ears and ran into a couple different people before running into Preston, again.

Mandy wrote down, "Nothing new, nothing special."

Preston sighed, "You're really making me feel like a ghost, you know. That has to be the second time you've almost ran into me." By this time, Preston's ears had adjusted to crappy music, so he didn't even notice how the other band sounded. xD He turned to Regan, "Great. I'll make sure I can come. I wouldn't want to miss the party, after all."

"Suspiciously similar to Nickelback.", wrote Fiona.

This time, Tammy didn't bother to grab a cusuion, she just stuffed her head down inbetween the two remaining ones, looking like a stereotyped ostrich. XD

Cy just put his fingers in his ears again to block out the sound.

Regan smiled. "I really want you to come. There'll probably be a sound system, so we can have a break."

When the band finished, Mandy said exactly what she had wrote down. "Nothing special. I didn't think you were terrible in terms of talent, it's just that your sound is nothing new. I've heard it before."

"Yeah. I'd like that too." Preston grinned back.

Kate blushed and mumbled a sorry. "If it makes you feel any better, I ran into a couple other people."

Preston shrugged, "It really doesn't matter. I'm about to have a private conversation though, so if you wouldn't mind not eavesdropping, that'd be nice, thanks."

"You're the third band I've heard this month that sounds exactly like Nickelback. Seriously. Get your own ideas. You suck, you have no originality, and you back there, mister bassist, you need to cut your hair! Seriously! Ass-length is not your style!"
