Blair leaned her head on her hand. She looked toward Heather, who seemed to be having a great time. "I wonder if she's going to go out with him." Blair said, motioning meekly toward her friend. "It would be... interesting."

"About as interesting as a rabbit mating with a horse." He stopped, then went on, "Wait a second, I take that back, that would be quite interesting to see the outcome."

Blair shook her head. "Whatever, Myles."

Miles continued rocking back in his chair.

The bell rang, and Heather smiled, feeling very relieved that lunch was over.

Miles got up out of his seat and waited for Heather to get to the door before he got behind her. "So what, you going out with doorknob over there now?"

Heather turned around. "Why, whats it matter to you?" Heather said and flipped her harir over her sholder. "Jealous?"

Myles pushed out the door and shoved his hands in his pockets. "You could say that."

"I figured as much."
