"He was only given ten years, and he's already served most of it so he'll be out in two years."

[Silent_Wolf]

"He comes anywhere near here, the sheriff'll throttle him before I get the chance. There's a lot of kids in this town, so the whole Must Stay 100 Yards away doesn't apply very well here."

[Miranda_]

"How would they know it's him? He probably looks different now."

[Silent_Wolf]

"We'd still find out who he was. That's how this town's always been; you know everything about everybody. Well, except in your case but you get the point."

[Miranda_]

"I'm glad. I don't want everyone to know what happened; I don't want people's disgust or their pity."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I know. My mouth is zipped." She mimed zipping her mouth shut and threw something behind her, then winced when the remote hit the ground; she'd actually thrown it. XD

[Miranda_]

Jeff didn't smile. "My foster parents know, of course. That's what my foster mother kept trying to get me to talk about."

[Silent_Wolf]

".. Have you tried flat out telling her that if you want to talk about it, you'll do it on your own time? I thought all psychiatrists or whatever knew that."

[Miranda_]

"There's no point. I just try and avoid her."

[Silent_Wolf]

".. You want me to try? She'll probably ask me if you told me, but I'll tell her no, just that you told me she keeps bugging you."
