"There's nothing else for it, sadly." Flynn didn't want to be sent back to the children's home, not for anything; he was still only sixteen, and not a legal adult yet.

"The view." Carmella said, "What else would you want to see?" She asked, wondering what Ty had expected. She thought for a minute. "Oh, I have a disco ball in my room if you want to see that."

"There's got to be some kinda fun you can have." She finished stitching her hand up and threw the needle in a garbage can nearby, wrapping her hand up in bandages after putting some medicine on the stitches.

Ty gave a shrug. "There's also a view from my house; and most girls who take a guy back to their house are doing so to get laid. If all you wanted to do was lead me on, I guess I'll be leaving." His eyes glittered dangerously. Ty was annoyed, and knew that if he put Carmella into a trance, he could feed from her and when she woke up, she'd remember nothing at all that night.

Othello replied, "Let's go, then. It's members and guests only, but I could get you in."

"This is fun," replied Flynn. "Whenever I've got the money, I come here. Or I go to the cinema."

"So you basically do nothing all the time." She put the first aid kit back under the bar and stared at her hand. "... yeah, that's gonna be fun tomorrow. Stupid twilightards..."

"There's nothing to do in this town, and I live at the shelter cuz I don't have a home."

"If you want a job, you can work at my store. Passes the time, the hours are good, and since usually I'm the only one there it'd be a fifty fifty pay. Though most of mine goes toward paying bills.."

"I still don't have anywhere to live." Flynn was being deliberately cagey about Perdita; he didn't want it to get out, after all there was still the very real risk of Perdita's brothers and half brother, as well as her father.
