Layla opened the door and could instantly smell Terrence's blood. She followed the scent, carefully watching for traps.

Terrence was still asleep. XD

She went into the bedroom and moved closer and closer to where Terrence was.

Flynn was following Layla, in case there was a chance at feeding for him.

She activated one of the trip wired, which eventually lead to a bucket of beer being poured on her. Terrence didn't like it too much, it was his dad's, andhe figured that the alcohol would hurt a vamp's eyes and make it harder to smell anything but the beer. XD

Now awake, Terrence swore. He got up and dashed for th window and opened it, then crawled ont the roof. He had only about two feet to edge along on, and that was slanted, and they were on the third floor.

Oh, and did I mention his fear of heights?

Layla's vision did in fact become a bit impaired, as was her sense of smell. However, she was aware Flynn was behind her and that he hadn't been affected by the alcohol, so she believed he would finish Terrence off.

Flynn got out the window after Terrence, and grinned at him. He had no fear of heights. "Either come with me, or die. I might let you live; the fall on the other hand, will mush you into a pile of flesh."

"Riiiiiight. I won't live, I'll just get sucked dry." Terrence said. He started to edge along the roof again; between his fear of heights and the fear of the vampire threatening him, the vampire won. XD

"Not necessarily; if I just take enough to feed on, you'll become like me."

"Who says I want that? Blood makes me queasy, and vamps survive on blood; I'd be the worst vampire in history." Terrence said.
