Meanwhile, Erinne spotted the gun-wielding forsaken; he had positioned himself on the roof of the smithy, and was reloading his weapon. "Oh no you don't," she thought to herself as she raised her rifle and took aim. The bullet missed, glancing off the roof tiles, but it was enough to distract the forsaken so that his shot flew harmlessly past the combatants.
As the undead looked around, trying to find his attacker, the night elf used her race's natural affinity with the shadows to make herself indistinguishable from the surroundings. However, while he failed to spot her, a few night watchers looked up and saw the gunman. Realising he had been spotted, the forsaken withdrew from the edge of the roof, but Erinne had no doubt that the guards would finish him off. Drawing her swords, Erinne rushed into the melee. The night watch was overwhelming their adversaries, but the undead fought desperately, heedless of whether they would die, but trying to bring down as many enemies with them as they could.

(OOC: Wrong what?)
Erinne cut down one of the last remaining undead on the town square and looked up just in time to see the Forsaken reinforcements. ****... this is getting out of hand... She hadn't had time to reload her gun, and knew she couldn't reach them with a melee weapon in time. "Everybody! Take cover!" someone yelled, and she instinctively did as told, ducking behind the corner of a building. I may not reach them, but surely the night watch has rangers who can take them out before they can cause major damage, she reassured herself. Rocket launchers weren't exactly known for their long range. Still, she took the time to reload her gun, peeking around the corner at the approaching Forsaken.

Arathis took cover behind a metal cart, fireing arrows at them. Most glanced off their armour, but those that didn't where devastating hits.

(OOC: Aaron, if you're reading this, please answer my PM!)
Erinne blinked as an idea suddenly came to her. She didn't believe it would work, but she had to try... She raised her rifle, took careful aim, and pulled the trigger. The bullet flew through the air and struck straight where she had intended: the first Forsaken's rocket launcher exploded at the impact. Fiery debris flew through the air and the windows of some nearby houses were shattered. When the smoke cleared, the full extent of the devastation was visible. The Forsaken whose weapon had exploded was laying dead, little more than a charred husk; the goblin engineer had also been struck, and lay motionless, though whether dead or alive was difficult to tell at this range. The second undead had been knocked down, but was struggling to get up again. Erinne stared blankly for a moment, astounded that she had actually succeeded. Then, she turned to Junia, grinned widely, and said "I did now."
