Nala didn't hear him, since her music was turned up full. She was sketching in her notepad.

[Miranda_]

So Cole changed into his snake form and slithered under the door. As he got bigger, this got harder to do; he only just managed to squeeze thru the gap.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Nala didn't look up. She was actually shading in a sketch of Cole, though he wouldn't be able to see that. She looked up and jumped, "Ahh! Holy sh*t, Cole!" she squeaked, stuffing the notepad down the side of the bed.

[Miranda_]

Cole eventually managed to get all the way into the room and changed back to his human form. "Maybe I just need to lose a few pounds, but that gets harder and harder every time I do it."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Oh yeah, you're a total tubbie. Um, why are you in my room? I could have been doing anything, don't you knock?"

[Miranda_]

"I did knock. But you didn't hear me, or weren't paying attention or something."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"I was busy, okay? I had music on."

[Miranda_]

"Oh, sorry. Do you want me to go?"

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"No, it's fine. I just have to check that my sketches are okay." Nala said, rescuing her sketchpad discreetly.

[Miranda_]

"Don't worry, I won't peek. I know how you are about your art. Can I sit down on the bed, tho?"
