Matt felt uncomfortable. Obviously, Destiny already had someone lined up; and it couldn't be him. He turned to leave.

Destiny hugged David then went back to work.

Matt went back upstairs to bed. He knew he was too tired to fully concentrate on his own work, and he didn't want to risk an error.

Destiny was typing away.

Unusually, Matt wasn't at the computer. O.o

Rian was complaining that he was the last person to know about Destiny's divorce.

This mostly being because he was asleep when she told him. XD

Destiny was actually mildly disturbed by Matt's absence.

That was true, but it wouldn't stop Rian moaning about it. XD

Matt was up in his room, trying to sleep but failing cuz of all the thoughts in his head.

Destiny went in search of Matt.

Matt was thinking wildly that he had to tell Destiny how he felt, but he was also scared of rejection or worse, laughter.
