"That's strange. I wonder why that is?" O_o

Matt had in fact developed a theory as to why most Diclonii were female; seeing as all fetuses started off female and later developed into male, and most women who gave birth to Diclonii babies had been infected or the baby's father had been, then it made sense that they'd mostly be female. Remy and Theo weren't, but then, they were both half breeds and there were other genes in the mix to counteract that. Alexis' mother had been infected by a Diclonius very late in her pregnancy; she'd been nearly six months pregnant, and her baby had already developed into a boy, therefore she gave birth three months later to a male Diclonius.

[Silent_Wolf]

"I'll ask Matt. He knows a lot of things."

[Miranda_]

"OK. I expect they wanted me kept alive cuz of that; after all, they do run a lab."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I don't try to understand people like them. They're just pathetic because they don't want anybody to be better than them." Nyx flinched, then sneezed into her elbow; her jacket sleeve caught on fire. ".. Well, dammit." She batted the flames out; Shim squealed in fright and flew away into another cupboard.

[Miranda_]

Alexis looked a bit spooked. "Why did that happen?" O_o He edged away a little.

[Silent_Wolf]

"Um." Nyx managed to get the fire out. "My mom could control fire, to an extent, but hers usually reacted when she was under stress. My dad was a demon of some kind and well, he was red like this." She pointed at herself. "And I got his horns and tail too. I'm fireproof, too."

[Miranda_]

"Oh. That's better than what I can do; I can't really do much."

[Silent_Wolf]

"You've got vectors though. Those are really cool."

[Miranda_]

"I don't really use them for anything. I don't know how." Alexis didn't have the killer instinct that the majority of Diclonii had, so he really didn't have any idea.

[Silent_Wolf]

"You can grab things, throw things, you can cook with them too." She'd seen Lucy using her vectors to cook once, though it looked like everything had been doing things on their own. XD
