"Exactly. There really was just a few bad episodes; once kids learned what would happen to them if they tried to hurt me, they soon stopped trying. Like this incident..." Remy then related the following episode.
The 2 big boys stood in front of the 6 year old Remy, outside the school gates. They sneered at him, clenching their fists as they advanced towards him. "Are you scared now, freak?" one of them said in a nasty tone of voice. "No," replied Remy calmly. "You should be. We're going to beat the hell out of you. We don't want freaks with horns and tails in this school." Remy smiled slightly, right before 2 light grey vectors shot out of his back, each one glowing gold and silver as it clutched hold of each boy's ankle, lifting them high up in the air upside down. Remy said, with more than a trace of irony, "Are you scared now? You should be." The boys struggled, trying to free themselves from the hands that gripped their ankles, but they struggled in vain. "Let us go, or else!" one of the boys shouted. "Or else what?" "Or else we'll hurt you, Horns!" Remy burst into peals of laughter. "You'll hurt me? I'd love to see you try." He raised the boys yet higher; once they were 6 feet in the air, he let go of them. Both boys hit the ground hard, one breaking 2 ribs, the other his collar bone. Despite their injuries, both of them took to their heels as soon as they could, without even a backwards glance at the 6 year old who'd just bested them.  |
