"Even tho it's been years, I can still remember the island. It was beautiful, too. Even with the human traders who used to visit it," Bane said.

"Yeah, even if you're right and not all humans are bad, you're all still uptight. One human guy got a nosebleed just cuz he walked to the beach and saw Sheena sunbathing. Plus, some of them were weird after I said I'd had sex at age six. What's wrong with that?"

"Because many humans don't have sex until they're fourteen. Our bodies and minds simply don't mature at the rate yours do."

[Miranda_]

Bane stared at Kaine in disbelief. "Fourteen?! That's ancient."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Not particularly. Perhaps you just start too early."

[Miranda_]

"The earliest anyone starts is four, but that's pushing it a bit. Six isn't too early, it's just right. You lot can't be that different from us, seeing as you look like our other shape, a bit."

"We are that different. It's sick to have sex with a human six year old, it only hurts them."

"Didn't hurt me," Bane said. "Don't you develop then?"

"Of course, just a lot slower than you. For us you mature early if you have sex at eleven or twelve."

"Huh," Bane said. "I'd slept with dozens of girls by the time I was eleven."
