Some of the other kids noticed the new arrival, and smiled evilly as they saw she was a mutant. A few of the nastier kids began to pelt Nyx with stones.
Paul smiled. "Good. You can help me plan to get out of here. Once I'm out of this place, they'll never find me."      |

Nyx shifted her goggles a bit, trying to figure out where her clothes had shifted, and she inwardly groaned when she saw her tail had gotten loose. However, other than that, she didn't move, just tugged her ratty hat down farther on her head.

The kids kept on their assault, free to do as they wish as the teachers were not around.

Eventually a teacher came out and stopped them. "Stop it! That's cruel." The kids muttered amongst themselves, but stopped their attacks. "Mutant lover," one whispered to another, pointing at the teacher, who decided to stay outside for the duration of the lunch break.

Nyx flicked some of the rocks off her coat, shifting around a bit where she was sitting, and she shoved her tail back into one of the sweaters, grumbling under her breath a bit; thing never stayed where it was supposed to.
