[Miranda_]

Rian said nothing more. He got up. "Just going outside to smoke."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Okay." Destiny passed him a lighter, "Don't take ages."

[Miranda_]

"Nah, I won't. I'm not you; I don't make people wait for hours." Rian left the bar and stood outside it as he smoked a cigarette.

Two guys watched for a while to make sure that no-one was around, then one walked quickly up to Rian just as he finished his smoke and turned to go back inside. Rian expected the guy to throw a punch and was ready for the fight; but the guy instead lunged at him and bit him hard on the shoulder. Rian cried out in pain and the other guy nudged his friend.

"Come on Philip; let's get out of here!" The guy nodded, and they both ran off together.

Inside Destiny was getting annoyed at waiting for Rian, "God, what's taking so long! Trubles, can you go see what's up with him?"
Tru nodded, going outside.

[Miranda_]

Rian had passed out from the pain of the bite and was lying on the floor just outside the bar.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Tru screamed, "Oh God! Help, someone help! Call an ambulance!"
She knelt by him, slapping his face, "Rian, wake up. Rian!"

[Miranda_]

Rian stayed out of it. A nearby boy ran to call an ambulance.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Destiny came out, "Oh sh*t! What happened?"
"I don't know, I just came out and he was like this!" Tru wailed, pressing her hand down on the bite to stop teh bloodflow.

[Miranda_]

The ambulance arrived quickly. Rian was taken on board and a tourniquet applied to stop the bleeding. A policeman started to ask people what had happened, but no-one had seen anything.

Tru was clinging to Destiny and crying.
