Elven University [RP]

This is a spinoff of the Elven Battles RP. However, others can join, since the only connections will be some of the people.

Kingsley University for Elves is the largest university in all of the Elven world. In this world, humans, elves, and half-human/elves live together in harmony. And the students... well, they live in the amount of harmony you would expect from a bunch of University students.

They can take all the usual subjects like math, history, law, psychology, etc. and (along with at least one of those) they can get a degree in magic, weaponry, or healing. They can take whichever they choose, but they must choose one regular, and one elven. Even if they are human.

Sometimes living together can cause many problems. Not everyone on campus gets along. The school is very cliquey, but there are people willing to let that change. Still the elves don't let the humans play their games, and the humans don't let the elves play theirs. The halfers that don't pick a side are usually out-casted their whole University career.

The school costs nearly nothing to get into considering it's fairly new, has a large campus, and many courses and clubs to choose from. Also, each person, for a very low fee, gets a free room (with one roommate) including a computer desk, two single beds, and a small closet.

The school rules are simple. They're mostly the basics of any high school, college, or university.

1. This has no rating as of yet, but you must be at least 14 to join this RP.
2. If you aren't sure if you're "Advanced" as far as RPing goes, PM me. Otherwise, Advanced RPers know who they are. It's just that I don't want posts like: Hiiz *James walks in* nice 2 meet u. Or something. I need to know you can actually write with some skill.

Jackie unpacked her bags. Finally. School had started a few weeks back, but she procrastinated over putting her stuff in the closet. She really didn't have the time with all the homework, assignments, essays, and sports she was involved in, to really get settled in. However, today the petite athletic blonde girl had nothing else to do, so she figured why not now? Currently she had no roommate, and she was worried her stuff would take up the majority of the closet. So if someone did come, she figured, the girl would need to live out of her suitcase. And to her, unless it was another full elf, she would probably make them do so even if there was room.

Meanwhile her brother Joshua was out chilling with some of his elven mates. He didn't do this often, so he was pretty excited. Unlike his sister, he really didn't just hang out with Elves all the time, but this time he happened to. Josh wasn't involved in any clubs, and the only sport he was involved in was Tennis, but he still was lacking free time because of how often he did extra credit assignments and how much time he would spend working to perfect his term paper. He wasn't a nerd, no, but he was not idiot.

Biography/Other: Jenny is, unfortunately, blind. Having been born a seeing person, becoming blind at age seven was a bit of a bother, especially since her Elven father was a scientist and getting far too close to one of the electrical devices in his lab was the cause of her loss of sight. Despite this, she tries to do things as a normal person does. Her seeing-eye-dog, Aine, is a German shephard and, despite his rough appearance, is actually quite friendly as long as you don't appear to be a threat. Also, Jenny isn't actually a teacher, she's a defense attorney; she came to the Elven University to teach law, yes, but she's more of a lecturer. She tries to incorporate realistic play-court-cases, however that didn't work well in the past and she almost scrapped the idea. She's also allergic to carrots, most seafood, and oranges.

As well as teaching law, Jenny also teaches weaponry. However, she's pretty bad at it, considering she's blind, and as such usually asks another weapons teacher to help.

Biography/Other: Nikki was dating a human guy for about 6 months and during the time, she had agreed to take in her nephew who had lost both of his parents in an accident. After that, her boyfriend dumped her. Since then, she hasn’t dated since and has been a bit cold to most men. She is extremely cautious around them, as well.

Biography/Other: Justin grew up in a predominantly elf area with very few half-breeds and humans. His parents hated anyone that wasn’t a pure elf but Justin could care less. He didn’t particularly care for the humans and half-bred elves but he didn’t mind them either.

Nikki was sitting in her room, dressed in her lounge pants and a baggy shirt, getting her lesson plans ready for the next day. Bryan, her nephew, was already in bed and asleep. She looked up at the clock and sighed. She needed to go to bed soon herself.

Jennifer was in the library, doing research for her law essay. She hadn't made many friends within the first couple weeks but didn't care much. Her roommate, Jackie, wasn't very nice to her and most of the other elves weren't either. She mainly just hung out at the library after classes, seeing as many people didn't stay too long there.

Justin was hanging out with some of the other kids in his dorm, including Josh. "Hey guys! The game's on!" Justin said, looking at the TV.

Jenny lifted her head off her desk, hitting a button on the computer with a hand; had she slept in again? She stared at the computer blindly, listening to the date and time as both were read off, and she scrambled to her feet when she heard the time. "Ack! Not again!! I'm gonna... wait. Class is over today, isn't it?" She whistled a bit, and her seeing eye dog lifted its head over at its bed. "Aine, we went out already, didn't we?" The dog barked once, before going back to sleep. She sighed, annoyed, and sat back down at her computer, finding the two raised marks on the F and J and starting to type, listening to the computer read the words out as they were typed.

Aine stood up from his doggie bed, stretching and yawning with a faint 'arr' at the end of it, and he trotted over to Jenny and lay down on her feet, trying to get her attention. "Aine, off."
