".." Zandra leaned back on the seat. "Well, right before I got cursed I lived in America, worked for a mob boss there. My mum lived with me; we found out that she was sick really bad with something, so she stayed in the hospital most of the time." She stared out the window. ".. My stupid older brother came and tried to kidnap her, take her back to her homeland. He thinks he's so freaking high up, just 'cause he was like Mum. Didn't look a shred Italian like Dad did. Anyway, he beat up a lot of people at the hospital to get Mom out, even gave a little kid a black eye.
"I went over to Mum's flat and found him there, and chased him out. I hate the guy, if he wasn't family I'd have killed him by now. Later, I had to go meet my boss for a brief on my day's hit. He... he wanted me to kill my brother." She made a face. "I wouldn't do it. He told me to bring Ralston to him, I said no, family obligations come before my work obligation." She sighed. "... Mum and me left America right after that. We later found out my brother had been hit by a bus on his way back to the airport." She looked back at Raziel. "..
