"That's probably cuz of him, you know."

"I know, and I've already talked to him about that." Dji said with a sigh.

"Did it do any good? Just wondering."

[spirit_queen]

"Er, sort of; he still has taught her cuss words, but has kep other things from slipping, if you know what I mean." Djimon said. "And with Jem, that's probably the best you can get."

[Miranda_]

"It's kind of weird, really," said Aiden, "How you and him can be so completely different. I'm not saying this to be racist or anything, but a lot of people would put you two as being friends or something."

[spirit_queen]

Djimon shrugged. "We come from two completely different backgrounds, and have little in common."

[Miranda_]

"I wasn't saying I was thinking that, just that some people might. And it's weird, cuz they wouldn't assume that I'm friends with, say, Raziel."

[spirit_queen]

"I know." Dji said. "Unfortunately, I'm used to people seeing me and giving me a look, or clutching their purses tighter." He sighed. "I'm not only black, I'm also big and intimidating, and people assume the worst. No matter if most countries are legally rid of racism, the people still cling to it a little. Even the nice ones."

"Ironic, really; they'd be so busy thinking that, and won't notice Jem stealing their purses behind their backs."

[spirit_queen]

"Yes; look to the big guy, and don't notice the other guy sneaking around back. If I was inot stealing, I'd tihnk it was an excellent plan." Djimon said. "But I'm a goody-two-shoes, so I'd never partake in stealing."
