"I do know what I'm talking about. I had a child, and I never knew him. It's the worst thing in the the world and you don't deserve. Imagine spending every day wondering if that kid is yours, or that other one, or whether your kid has your eyes or their mother's. If they take after you or are completely different. And then imagine that you'll never get to find out, no matter how much you regret not being there, no matter how much you want to be there now. You really don't deserve that."
