Crim had asked about the mutants in the cells and had been told that one of them, Fern, was considered too dangerous in that she refused to co-operate. The other, Aiden, was co-operating, but his power meant that he had to stay where he was. "Why?" Crim asked. "If he's wearing a collar, he won't be dangerous. You could at least show him that co-operation gets him somewhere, or he might just quit doing so." Kat hissed in agreement. The Malus official was rattled. "I didn't think of that."

This in itself was true. Aiden would not venture outside by himself, into strange territory. He didn't understand the language that was spoken in India, and was especially paranoid of being stared at, even tho from the outside he looked fairly normal save for his habit of wearing gloves and long sleeves all the time.

"I'm just telling this bonehead to let the mutant who's co-operating out of the cell, to reward him for doing so," said Crim. "Makes sense, you know, to reward good behaviour."
The official looked even more rattled, but knew that Crim was right. After all, Aiden was unlikely to want to return to the cell, so was hardly going to do anything to make that likely.

The official almost ran to get to the steps that led down to the cells. XD

Killie kept her face straight until the official was out of earshot; of course, this wasn't hard to do considering her mask was on. xD She started laughing and had to sit down. "Oh my god, did you see the look on his face!"
