When it was close enough she set her feet on it, sighing in relief. "Whew. I need to get a better ladder or learn to not freak out when mice scare me."
I KNOW THE PIECES FIT, CAUSE I WATCHED THEM FALL AWAY, MILDEWED AND SMOLDERING.

"It ran off that way-" She pointed out the door, though she was more or less referring to the vents in the ceiling. "-but then it went down a turn."

"Alright, just don't knock any of the wires out of place." She slid down the ladder after grabbing her CD player out of the vent; she was still wearing the headphones around her neck. XD

Djimon climbed up onto the ladder. "Hey, little mousey!" He called.
The mouse squeaked in surprise. "Who are you? W-what do you want? "I wanna get you out of here; these wires could be dangerous, you know." He said. The mouse squeaked again, an equivalent to the the human 'EEK!'. "I never knew!" "Well, folow my voice, avoid the wires, and I can take you to a better place. Maybe even get you some peanuts and some cheese, if we have that in the kitchen." Djimon said. Immediately, an absolutely tiny mouse came running towards Djimon. It was probably some sort of field-mouse, with large, twinkly eyes ad a long tail. Djimon picked it up. "How about sunlower seeds? I haven't had any of those in the longest time!" The mouse asked. "If we have it. So, tell me; are there any other mice aorund here?" Djimon asked. "Nope!" Djimon looked down at Okeam. "Problem solved." ![]() |

"Thanks. ... The mouse looked bigger up close." She looked sheepish.
