"Yay!" Nikita clapped happily.

Nikita just smiled happily.
*elsewhere* Akahele walked down to the holding cells of the Malus base, taking a pair of sunglasses from a guard with a raised eyebrow, and he walked over to where Zehira was. "What's going on that we need these?" He held up the eyewear, staring at her. "Just put them on." Her voice was strained. "This is just moronic, we can't have him here," she mumbled, walking down the hall; there was a cell that was brightly lit, despite each cell having only one lightbulb smack in the center of the ceiling. They put their sunglasses on, and even with them Akahele felt blind; in the cell was a man chained to a wall with shackles of what appeared to be oozing darkness, and similar shackles were holding pure white feathered serpents - the source of the blinding light - against the wall so they couldn't attack anybody. "What the hell is this?" Akahele backed up a step as the man looked up and glared at them; his left eye was red, while the other was a pale green. "Let me out! I'm on your side, god dammit!" There was a strange, almost keening noise under his voice. "They sent me down here to help you!" "No, you weren't. You came down here because of Evelyn." Zehira glared at him. "You were told to stay up in France, and did you? No, because you can't control your own curse!" "I'm in control of it! Now let me go!" "No! You are staying here until we can safely transfer you somewhere else. Get over it." Zehira walked down the hall, away from the blinding light; Akahele followed behind, looking a little baffled. "Who is that?" "Ralston Thirdeli. Evelyn's older brother. He was assumed dead after trying to kidnap his mother from a hospital over in America but it looks like he got stuck with the Angelus. It's really rather fitting, they already hate each other and now they hate each other even more because of their respective curses." Zehira pulled her sunglasses off, giving them back to the guard. "We need to get him out of here. If we can't, I'm leaving with Remy and going somewhere else. It's too dangerous here with them in the same area." Ralston was furiously trying to wriggle out of his chains and shackles, as were the feathered Serpentines that were stuck to the wall; he couldn't loose. "Dammit," he mumbled.
