"To being pregnant? Sometimes it's nto so bad, sometimes it sucks. Morning sickness especially sucks; soemtimes you're afraid you're gonna die, then you're afraid you're not gonna die. Sometimes you're just a little queasy. The cravings aren't fun, especially if the cravings arne't in stock or, as in today's case, unpleasant." Emily said. She paused. "But I'm pretty sure I'm a unique case, because of Shamus. As for Shamus he's loyal, can be very sweet, and is often very amusing. He can be weird and stubborn, at times, but he's been very quiet lately."

[Miranda_]

"I guess I don't really know much about it. All I know is what my mother told me; she started telling me things from an early age, cuz her sister ended up in a bad home."

"Oh. I'm sorry. I'm sort new at this too; Honey, the cook,h as been helping me some, as she has kids at home and has gone through it several times." Emily's hand went to her belly, wich wasn't swollen yet, but she was starting to gain. "One tihng I hate about these early stages is I'm starting to get bigger, but it isnt obviously pregnancy yet, so I just feel fat."

"You're lucky it happened with someone you're with, instead of just by the guy who owns you."

Emily shuddered. "I did think it could have been Anthony, but the mouse episode confirms it's Shamus' kid."

[Miranda_]

"Was Anthony bad, then? Ariella didn't tell me much about him."

[spirit_queen]

"Oh, God, yes." Emily said. "He's the real reason Declan started selling us to punters. When Connor arrived, Anthony did terrible, horrible things to him, and poo Connor was out for a week." She shuddered. "If I had his kid, I suppose I'd deal; after all, the kid would be half me, as well, but it'd still be hard to look at him or her and not see the father." Emily sighed. "At elast since it's Shamus', seeing the father in the child won't be so bad."

"I never really thought of it like that; my mother always told me that I'd bred straight from her, and there's nothing of my father in me, at all."

"Your mom sounds like a nice woman." Emily said. "I'm not exactly like that; I'm easily angered, and hold grudges long."
