Jeff didn't hear her as he'd already turned the shower on.

Under Jeff's bed in his room was a box of newspaper clippings, detailing the trial and the aftermath. Jeff's photo was in some of the clippings; tho as he was just ten years old at the time, his face was blurred out and he had been given the pseudonom of "James". His mother, Leanne, was in some; her photo was downstairs. And of course, there was the uncompromising mug shot of Acario Ketrak, Leanne's ex husband and Jeff's abuser.

Destiny gave a low whistle.

Jeff had originally started collecting the clippings as a therapy exercise, but it had eventually grown into an obsession that he couldn't let go of. He not only had articles on the trial and aftermath, but also on the other crimes that Acario had commited; as well as his eventual release from prison ten years after the trial.

Destiny neatly packed them away again.

Jeff was still in the shower; he often spent at least an hour in there, to scrub off the dirt he couldn't see but was sure was there.

Destiny knocked on the bathroom door.

Jeff was flustered. "What?"

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Mind if I join you in there?" She pulled off her top.

[Miranda_]

"Um... why do you want to? I thought you were waiting downstairs!"

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Got bored, and I feel like it."
