This is a roleplay where newbies (someone who is new to something, in this case, RPGS) can learn to roleplay while more advanced players help them.

Rules for Newbies:
1. Read the RPG stickies. If you read them, please tell me what godmodding is, because it is necessary for you to have read the rules and apply them to your first roleplay.
2. Use correct writing skills (NO n00bspeak...I mean chatspeak). Poor grammer, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling will NOT be tolerated.
3. Smilies are to be used in moderation and ONLY in ooc:
Rules for advanced players:
1. Most importantly, no sex. If there is this kind of scene, don't describe it, but you CAN put ~X-scene~ or whatever. Most newbies are pretty young (elementary, early middle school) and probably don't want to hear about that kind of stuff. xD
2. No over-bossing the newbies. If they break a rule and it is the first or second time, politely state what they did wrong. If it is the 3rd time, please PM me or spirit_queen, and we will...look into it. hehe
Rules for everyone:
1. Romance is greatly encouraged. This means passionate kissing. We went over what we do when the charries go far.ther than that. xD
2. Strictly no arguing. You will both/all be PMed and possibly banned from the RP. If you wish to argue maturely, keep it in PMs, please. And also, don't let the argument influence your characters' attitudes towards the other characters.

The plot...

The school of art in downtown New York City has started a new year. The new freshman are excited to have been accepted, and you are one of them. You come from around the world and from different lifestyles. This year, the students will learn dance and classical music. Of course, after school activities will pop up later on.

Will your character become a rising star, or a failing student? Will he/she fall in love with that special someone or avoid the opposite gender all togehter? It's all up to you! Be creative, this is YOUR character!

ALSO, NO MARY/GARY SUES! THESE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
Here's a little information about these:

Mary Sue and other character atrocities.
Before we move on to Mary Sue, first let me list a few more character atrocities.

1. A thin character. No, that does not mean a skinny character, just one that has no detail whatsoever. For example, just name, age and a power description. A character bio must contain a personality description, listing both good and bad points.

2. A character with just a picture as a description. If you use a picture as an appearence reference, then that's fine; just remember that you must also include a paragraph on personality. I cannot stress this enough.

3. A character that doesn't interact. There is no point whatsoever in joining an RP if you're just going to go your own sweet way and not interact with the other players.

Finally, we get on to Mary Sue. If you are unsure about whether your character is a Mary Sue or not, then PM me your character form and I will tell you. The main characteristics of a Mary Sue are listed below:

1. Pointlessly flowery description. For example; "Her hair was golden like the sun shining on ripening wheat." Completely unnecessary.

2. Perfect in every way. Only Mary Poppins is "practically perfect in every way." Anyone else who has no faults is a Mary Sue. Faults are things like bad temper, laziness, greed, clumsiness. NOT "she was so beautiful all the girls were jealous." X_x Also, do not list a character's strengths as "everything." They must have power or school weaknesses, cuz everyone does.

3. Being the girlf of a canon character. This applies to RPs that are based on TV, anime, or books. Just don't. If in the canon two characters are boyf and girlf, you stick to that. You can play the girlf, but don't change her character to fit your own. Which leads us on to...

4. Makes canon characters behave out of character. Canon characters stay as they are under pain of death, do you hear me? *shakes fist* You don't want to experience my wrath!

5. Constantly bangs on about her tragic past. No-one's saying you can't have a character with past tragedy, just don't have them constantly bring it up, unless it pertains to the RP. Also, your character can not be the focus of the RP, or be the main character.

Personality: Fun and outgoing but can also be shy. Is a decent student and has some friends. A bit of a geek and nerd, as she would rather stay home on a friday night to read than go out.
Weakness: Can get a bit too stubborn for her own good, can also be a bit to over-confident in thinking that she is always right. Knows the oddest things, which causes people to call her a freak.
Strengths: Is very outspoken, making her a great speaker. She is also has great patience which helps her when practicing. She also reads a lot and knows has a lot of knowledge about computers, which helps her with other things.
Other: None at the moment.

Strengths : Has a talent for playing the piano, intelligent but likes to keep this to herself, and has a knack for being calm and collected in public.
Other: Wants to learn how to dance and be more open with people.

Strengths: When needed, she can be very helpful. She is very talented at dancing and hopes to become a famous dance instructor.
