School of Arts ~Newbie "Tutoring" RPG~

Devin had only been here for about a week and he was already grabbing some of his fellow classmates attention. Especially the ladies. Two girls sat on either side of him and some of their friends sat by them. The girl to his right had just been dumped by her boyfriend so she was laying her head on his shoulder while the other one babbled on about some fight that she had had with a close friend of hers. Either way, he was already growing bored of these girls that never seemed to know how to turn down the drama. Although he would never voice this opinion of his due to the fact that it would surely drive them away and why would he want to do that? He sighed before saying to the girl on his right who was crying,
"Now, now, why should such a beautiful young lady such as yourself be crying over some guy who obviously had no appreciation towards you nor the brains to like you for who you are," he gave her his signature smirk that signified knowledge yet kindness. She met his gaze and replied,
"Y-you really think s-so?" she managed to get out between sniffles.
"But of coarse," he shifted his weight so he could pull out a handkerchief and offered it to her.
"Have you been listening to a word that I've been saying!!?" the girl to his left yelled at him. Her face a mask of discontempt and anger.
"Yes, you had a fight with your friend, Trisha, correct?"
"Actually, yeah..That's right.." she seemed rather surprised with his answer.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Although," his smirk creped back into position right before he leaned in to whisper to the girl to his left, "if you ever get lonely..." He left it at that and he knew that the message had been delivered due to the blush that had appeared upon her face. He showed a bit of his teeth before he got up.
"I'm terribly sorry ladies, but I must take my leave now. I have some things that I must attend to." The girls' faces dropped, but they said their goodbyes anyway. He turned to leave them and made his way towards the doors of the school.

"Can you like, stand to the side?" Brooke asked the two newcomers, ignoring their responses, continuing to walk forward. Brooke slid into her usual seat from last year's Calligraphy's class, next to her friend, Beccuh.
"Hello dear." Beccuh said with a smile. Brooke didn't reply, she simply grinned at Beccuh.

Seth drove into the parking lot and turned off the ignition once he found a place to park. He grabbed his duffle bag and locked his car on the way out. He sighed and said under his breath,
"Another day, another dollar," he smiled to himself and thought Hmm, now there's an idea... He took a couple long strides towards the front door but as he closed the distance between him and the school he noticed a girl about his age sitting all by herself, just reading her book. He shrugged it off and continued to head for the Dance Studio. Once he was there, after being escorted by one of the custodians who shortly left that is, he began to stretch. As he did so he looked at the room that surrounded him. There was the usual mirrors on the wall and the bainster. A small stage had been set up so the dance instructor could teach the students he asumed. He smiled to himself and got up. He walked over to the stage and got on it. He looked across the room and turned around to look at himself in the mirror. He had already had his growth spurt and due to all those work outs that he had had he was nicely toned. He turned away from the mirror and closed the door behind him before he started to head towards his locker.

Romi burst through the school doors. Barley hidng her excitment as she walked. She had a smile on her face which after a while got diturbing. She glanced at her schedule and it said she had 1st two hours of Ballet second hour of Tap dancing, thrid hour of Hip Hop classes and the last two hours of violin practice. She smiled eagerly; she was happy to get most of the day dancing and quickly put away her schedule.

A bit of critique, if you don't mind...
Lilmissdrama, in your first post you talked about skyscrapers, but we've already described it as a small town...so you'll have to revise that. Also, make sure devin doesn't get too....perfect. if you know what I mean.

In general, this was a good start. Another thing that everyone should note...
try to stay focused on your own character. we have a few names being thrown out there that aren't actually any one. keep in mind we need to be interacting with each other, not imaginary best friends. Keep it as is, but lets move toward each other and away from the pretend people in the future :]

"Wow...that girl was really rude..." Noel commented, as she picked up her dropped schedule. "I guess we should head to class soon...I wonder where the photography building is?" She looked down at her map in her hand.

Ooc: Also, remember that you should read the posts before you even if they have nothing to do with your charrie because it might hold some vital background info.
Also, if you have more than one charrie, post their replies all in one post.

They started walking in the direction of the drama wing. Noel noticed a tall guy sweet talking some girls in his arms. She turned away, scoffing at the idea that those girls could be so foolish as to think he was worth anything!
She turned back to the girl who was helping her. "Thanks...er...what is your name?"

"Elizabeth, but everyone calls me Liz. I don't care. Call me what ever you want." She smiled. "Where do move from, er..."

"Noel." She smiled. "Noel Belaqua. I moved here from Half Moon Bay, California. It's kind of small town too, so I'm used to the atmosphere.
Anyway, before that girl ran into us, I was asking if they teach regular school subjects inside the other classes, like math, science, english, or is it all just art?"

"Mainly, just art classes. I mean, you might get a little bit of other teaching but not much."
