"I don't know how you put up with her. In Asgard, it was mostly Loki causing trouble, but he was never whiny like Aphrodite is."

"Naw, Loki's just weird. He's not so bad, so long as you keep his temper in check, so that his drk side doesn't take over." athena said. "I really don't understand why you hate him, or why he hates you, other than that you two are opposites."

[Miranda_]

"He just got away with too much, and deliberately tried to annoy me."

"He only keeps it up when you give him a reaction." Athena said. "When you show him you're not falling for that crap, he leaves you be." she said, shrugging.

[Miranda_]

"He doesn't leave me alone. You don't know how it was before; I never used to get upset at what he said or did, just hit him back with everything I had. He'd never stop annoying me but at least I could be sure that I was ensuring that not everything went his way all the time."

"Fighting back is still a reaction, Heimdall." Athena said with a sigh. "Besides, Loki's the type who just wants to have attention; he just happened to pursue it in negative ways. He doesn't like being utterly ignored. so fighting back with everything you had was giving him what he wanted." Suddenly, she smirked. "i wonder how he would have reacted if you ha started being nice to him instead."The smirk turned into a full, amused grin. "I could just picture his face! Oh, that'd be hilarious..."

Sky nodded, "Yeah. Follow the sound of the moving water!"

[Miranda_]

"He'd probably have taken advantage of it in some way; and ignoring him was what started the whole Ragnarok thing off."

"It wasn't so much being ignored as it was the fact that everyone was so amused by Balder because of all those oaths and being ignored because of it; he was forgotten while the mama's boy was in the spotlight. I think that's what really did it." Athena said.
