"I didn't even touch the halter, and it just fell to pieces. Plus, there's something really strange about this horse, anyway."

"Yeah... I was trying to ignore that. Maybe the halter was already half broken? But I agree... Strange horse." Keiko looked at the sun. "It's almost sunset."

[Miranda_]

"All to the good; we'll just have cover of darkness to trash the place." The horse didn't act like a normal horse would; it almost seemed to know them.

Eventually Tina fell, landing on the ground with a thump. She shook her stining hand, muttering darkly. She picked up her knife and stood, walking over to the people. "She stopped when she saw who it was. "Well no wonder I was left to fall and bruise my tailbone!" she said. She looked at thequarterhorse, and walked towards it. She placed her bloodless hand on the horse's muzzle/snout (?) and the knife in her other hand glowed.

"What the hell are you doing?" Remy looked at Tina with narrowed eyes. He was sure it was her, and yet... "Weren't you younger last time?"

Keiko blinked. "Remy... Just... weren't we going to..." She mumbled, not in the mood for arguing.

"I was." she said defiantly. "I somehow aged in the middle of a hospital." The horse blew out a huff of air, as if it was already tired of their arguing. Tina turned to face Remy. "Well, since you're going to rob that place, can you get me something suitable to waer? I hate stealing, but I need something better than a hospital gown to be wearing."

[Miranda_]

"You'd better come with us in that case. We're going in now."

"Thank the lord..." Keiko rolled her eyes and started towards the house, hoping that after the sun set, everything would be normal, unlike the last few days.

Tina nodded, stroking the horse one more time. She followed, still holding the knife. She wondered if she should clean her hand-wound, but decided not to bother an already testy Remy about something as minor as a cut, no matter how much it stung. Fortunatly, Tina's mom's death lay in the back of Tina's mind, and she wasn't thinking about it.
