"I sent her some photos of the kids; she was calling about that. She also wants a photo of you, and to come and stay." Shaun didn't know how Tina was going to react to that news.

"Oh. Sure. I could understand your mom being interested in the mother of her grandchildren." Tina said. "Now come eat."

[Miranda_]

Shaun sighed and went downstairs with Tina. He knew he probably should tell her about his parents, but it was hard to find the words.

Tina didn't even ponder just what sort of family Shaun had come from, only that he was British, thanks to the accent. But she liked the accent.

Shaun's family were in fact rich upper class English; his father was very stiff and proper, his mother smotheringly over protective.

Thism of course, she did not know. Shaun's family was the exact opposite of Tina's; both had been relaxed and easy-going, and were not afraid to get dirty (they were both archaeologists when they met, for heaven's sake!).

Freya had put the girls to sleep again and was sitting at the table waiting for lunch.

Tina soon came downstairs. "How much would you like, Keiko?" she asked.

Remy had come down too.

Shaun followed Tina down, thinking that if his mother was going to visit, he'd better tell Tina all about her.

Tina had made lasagna for lunch.
