"That's normal. He still needs to get some iron in his backbone."

"That'll come with time, and it'd help if you weren't real critical of him; that just cuts him down again." Tina said, after swallowing a rather large bite of pancakes.

[Miranda_]

Remy shrugged. "I'm not that critical; it's Loki who is. I know that doesn't make much sense, but I tend to change a lot personality wise at night."

Keiko nodded, "Same here. It would be in his best interest to stand up for himself though."

[Miranda_]

"If he could just bring himself to, I'd respect him a lot more. We'll never be friends tho; too different."

"I can tell that much." Tina said. "And I've told him to defend himself; he doesn't take the advice. It's no that he's ingoring me, it's just that he keeps thinking he can't do it."

"Well maybe if he tried a bit harder, then he could."

[spirit_queen]

"He doesn't think he can. He'll slowly get to the point; if you havne't noticed, he's gotten more confident than since way back, when we were at Remy's."

[Miranda_]

"Yeah; I've noticed he no longer hides in the corner."
