"I already have a plate full of pasta in the fridge for him, wrapped in plastic." Athena said. "It should be a big enough helping."

"Good." Freya paused and put down her empty plate. "Athena, are we really gonna give up on the counselling? I promise I'll listen next time and not be as selfish as I was."

Athena sighed. "Well, give me a chance to perhaps brush up on my psychology. you know, check out a few books from the local library, surf the net... I really want to feel like I know what I'm doing before I try that again." She said. "I'm one of those people who likes to be on top of things before diving into anything..."

"Oh." Freya sighed. "Maybe I can just try and get a professional. Who knows, maybe they could help. Of course we couldn't tell them everything, and we'd have to get a night appointment, but it may work. Maybe even just having another child would be helpful."

"Maybe." Athena said. She sighed, thinking My life is so stressful.

"It might be difficult with Loki being the way he is."

Athena sighed. "Heimdall, you don't really think too highly of Loki." It wasn't a question. "Sorry to seem rude, but I should remind you that, imperfect or not, Loki still is my friend, no matter what your opinion of him."

[Miranda_]

Heimdall looked crushed. He said nothing.

"I already have some names." Freya grinned, trying to change the subject. "Sky for a girl, and Ron for a boy. I don't see why Loki wouldn't agree. They're mortal like, so they'll get on okay in regular school and yet also Norse, so... No problem that I see."

Athena scratched Heimdall's head. "Sorry, Heimdall, but I don't like it when people talk smack about my friends." She looked up at Freya. "I like those names. i wonder what gender your next kid will be?"
