"How could it be your fault? It's not like it's your son." Freya said, a slight tingle of anger.

"I was trying to stop the shadows from getting to Athena and her babies while she was in labour. Guess I failed."

"Svana seems to be fine."

"she is. The shadows did plan to kill me; loki, I;m in debt to you for that. But as soon as they realized what you were doing, they planted a seed in Xander; there was nothing you could have done to stop it." Athena said.

"Is counselling over then?" Freya asked, kind of annoyed the attention was off her.

Athena sighed. "well, it's not really working." she said. "I'm not doing it right; maybe you should go see a professional."

[Miranda_]

"I did fail, then. He'll end up like me, probably even killing people like I did."

"A professional...?" Freya sighed. "I refuse to see a professional. They don't know us and I don't feel like telling them about my life. Maybe counselling isn't a good idea..." She stood up and started walking upstairs.

Athena sighed heavily and put her head in her hands.

"There's no getting thru to her. She's just so self centred; she thinks it's all about her. She didn't even listen to a word I said, just brought the focus back on herself." Loki rolled his eyes in anger; there was a spark of red in them.
