Heimdall jumped off the bed and followed her.

Aphrodite finally found her shoes and strapped them on (they were heals, of course).

Athena went downstairs and found Aphrodite putting her shoes on. "Just where are you going?" She asked.

"To work! Like, duh!" Aphrodite said, flipping her platinum blonde hair.

[Miranda_]

Heimdall peeked thru the crack in the door. He wasn't really wanting to show himself to Aphrodite just yet.

"How are you going to get there?" Athena asked.

"Heimdall has two cars, but he only likes to use one. so I thought I'd, like, borrow the other one." aphrodite said impatiently.

"You never asked Heimdall." athena said.

"So? It's not like I'll, like, wreck it."

"with you, who knows?"

"Hey! what's that supposed ot mean!"

[Miranda_]

Heimdall was angry at Aphrodite presuming to just take his car without permission. It was the sports car that he only ever used for fun; the jeep was for day to day use.

"It means I don't trust you. Never have, never will." athena said.

"So? No one asked you!" Aphrodite said. She furtively glanced at the door, then sprinted for it, running as fas in high heels as an ordinary person in tennis shoes.

Heimdall let out a moan of frustration. "If she crashes that car, I swear, I will string her up."

Surprisingly, when the car pulled out of the driveway, it dind't speed off but took off at an average speed.

"Let's hope Aphrodite has leanred some basic common sense..." Athena said. She picked up Heimdall. "I can vary her punishment deoending on when she returns and what condition the car is in when she returns."

[Miranda_]

"If it's trashed, you can turn her into a slug. If there's the slightest mark on that car when she comes back, she'll be very sorry."

Athena raised an eyebrow. "I've never seen you so possessive before. she said you hardly use that car..."
